Introduction
You're playing Ashe. You have the river and tribush well warded and you periodically send out Hawkshots. After killing the enemy laners, you notice a Fizz running up river at you. With your sharpshooting left clicking, you send your ultimate at him to stall, freezing him dead in his tracks. At the same time, you notice someone teleporting into a bush nearby. You send out a volley of arrows, slowing them. Triumphantly, you retreat under your turret, crowing that no assassin can best you! That's when Pantheon drops on your head, instantly kills you and walks away with barely a scratch.
Pantheon is a simple fighter. In lane he's a bully, chucking spears to whittle down the enemy laners health bar. However, unlike some other bullies, his role in the game doesn't end there. Throughout Midgame he's an assassin, and in the lategame he's a decent initiator and tank.
His kit is simple but powerful and he can easily dominate you if you aren't careful. In this guide I'll be teaching you how to stop this Spartan and put the dominating on your side.
Abilities
Passive – Aegis Protection
Every 4 basic attacks, Pantheon gets a shield which blocks him from one basic attack from a non-minion source.
Q – Spear Shot
Pantheon throws a spear which deals damage. If the target is low on health it crits.
W – Aegis of Zeonia
Stuns a target and refreshes his Aegis Protection.
E – Heartseeker Strike
Pantheon deals damage to all enemies In a cone in front of him.
R – Grand Skyfall
Patheon flies into he air and lands at the target location after a few seconds channel, dealing damage and slowing on arrival.
Our Top Counter Tips For Pantheon
Aim skillshot spells at the center of Pantheons circle when he lands, as it'll stop him in his tracks.
Avoid being low health, as Pantheon will get guaranteed crits on his spears and basic attacks if you're low enough.
If you're playing a tank, buying cloth armor and 5 health pots helps reduce Pantheon’s early presence.

LANE DOMINANCE
Darius
He can try to poke you down but you simply outtrade him. If he comes close, engage. Build Crystalline Flask.
Olaf
In an extended trade you beat him. Don't let yourself get poked down too much. If you get jungler support you can permaslow him. Your ult can break his stun. Be careful at low health; although you are more powerful, so is he. Build Black Cleaver.
JUNGLE OPTIONS
Shen
You can trade pretty well and can save your other lanes from his ult. Try to shield his spears by casting spells while they're midair. If he tries to ult away you can taunt him and if he ganks another lane you can ult to follow him. Build armor first, then go Titanic Hydra to split push, because his split pushing isn't very good.

Pantheon is destroyed by armor. Generally items like Sunfire Cape or Deadman's Plate are effective against him. Frozen heart isn't as good because he doesn’t rely on high auto attack speed. Because he does a lot of crit damage, Randuins is quite nice later on.
